A company committed to « ETHICAL » fashion

ONATIRÈL in Creole which translates to “natural” is a French company, born from the desire of its founder to find a solution to the problems of the manufacturing process of shoes in the world. The very essence of the brand is the love of nature and the authenticity of the products.

The goal of our company is to manufacture natural, eco-responsible, eco-friendly, cruelty-free shoes with a low impact on the environment.

Rebecca, the designer maintains a privileged and fusional link with fashion and nature.

Convinced that she should follow this path, she began studying fashion and shoe modeling at the COLBERT Institute in Cholet.

During her training, she met and interviewed many professionals in the fashion industry. By participating in a course on the different alternatives to shoe manufacturing, she discovers the existence of a real ecological innovation:

« Piñatex »: Material made from fibers of pineapple leaves.

Rebecca decides with the help of her husband and partner to create her own brand of eco-friendly footwear using piñatex as the main material in her collection. The brand was launched under its corporate name “Le petit soulier de Rebecca” in crowdfunding in May 2019 on the Ulule platform, and was successfully funded.

A UNIQUE COLLABORATION AND AN ECOLOGICAL MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Our shoes are made in Portugal in Jose’s workshop. We ensure that the artisanal and family workshop meets quality standards and offers its craftsmen a respectful and safe working environment.

We check the manufacturing process every 4 months to make sure that the Environmental Conditions and the high quality of our shoes are met.
